All items hired remain the property of Secret Wedding Events. The customer is solely responsible for the items during the hire period from the time of delivery/collection until the items are collected/returned and accepted back into the possession of Secret Wedding Events. Hire days will vary from 1-4 days.
Terms & Conditions of Hire
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total invoice will be required to secure your booking. This will secure the hire of all items you have specified on your invoice on your requested dates. The final balance of your booking must be paid two weeks prior to your event date.
A bond of $100 is required which will be held until all items are picked up / returned. Bond will be fully refunded minus any deductions for breakage or loss of items. Loss or damage to any items will be charged at four (4) times the hire rate and deducted accordingly from the damage deposit to replace the items. If replacement costs exceed the bond amount, we will invoice you for the outstanding amount. This must be paid within five (5) business days.
By paying your deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of hire.

Direct deposit, credit card, EFTPOS and payment plans are available.
Cancellation
Booking deposits are non-refundable to cancellation, change of date or change of mind. If your event date has changed, please notify us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Any cancellations must be made in writing to Secret Wedding Events and will incur an administration fee of $100.
• Cancellations more than 30 days prior the hire date are eligible for a 50% refund, less the 30% booking deposit and $100 administration fee.
• Cancellations within 30 days of hire date will not be refunded except for bond, delivery and pick up fees only. We are unable to offer a refund on the hire of your items due to lost opportunity.
All cancellations must be notified in writing to Secret Wedding Events.
Delivery & Pick Up
Delivery is not included in hire prices, please request a quote for delivery and collection if needed. Invoices must be paid in full for pick up and returns. Free to pick up and drop off yourself.
Cleaning Fees
Please note there is a cleaning fee for returned soiled/dirty items. We take pride in sending out clean products and appreciate that we receive them back in the same condition.

Cylinder vases – $2 per vase
White chair cushions – .50c per cushion
Cushions – .50c per cushion
Lounge suites – $100 per lounge set
Tables – $5 per table
Charger plates – .50c per charger
